1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sovran Nation platform, including our website (https://nation-sooty.vercel.app) and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

Sovran Nation is a sovereign Indigenous platform governed under Natural and Customary Law, not colonial commercial codes. By using this Platform, you agree to operate in honor, respect, and good faith with the values and customs upheld by Sovran Nation and its leadership.

3. Permitted Use

You are granted access to the Platform for private, educational, cultural, and spiritual use only. Commercial use, data harvesting, or public reproduction of proprietary content is strictly prohibited unless express written consent is granted.

4. Intellectual & Cultural Property

All original works on the Platform, including written content, audio, visual materials, emblems, and teachings, are the intellectual and spiritual property of Sovran Nation. They are protected under Indigenous law, common law, and international agreements, including the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

Any use must:

• Credit Sovran Nation as the source
• Include an active link to the Platform (when digital)
• Not alter the material or repurpose it for commercial or misrepresentative purposes

5. User Contributions

If the Platform permits contributions (comments, uploads, submissions), you grant Sovran Nation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and adapt your contribution within the Platform's context. You affirm that:

• You own or have rights to your content
• Your content does not infringe on any rights
• Your content aligns with the spiritual and respectful values of the Nation

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit harmful, hateful, harassing, or misleading content
• Infringe upon copyrights or cultural heritage
• Impersonate Sovran Nation or its members
• Interfere with Platform operations
• Engage in unauthorized promotion or solicitation

Violation may result in immediate removal and access termination.

7. Moderation & Sovereign Enforcement

The leaders of Sovran Nation reserves the right to remove any content or suspend access at its discretion for violations of these Terms or breaches of spiritual or moral law.

Access to this Platform is a privilege, not a right.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is." Sovran Nation makes no guarantees of uninterrupted access, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the Platform is at your own discernment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed under spiritual, customary, and natural law, Sovran Nation is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential harm arising from use of the Platform.

10. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

This Platform operates under the jurisdiction of Sovran Nation and its customary law. Any disputes shall first be addressed through peaceful remedy, truth-telling, and restorative dialogue. Failing resolution, the matter may proceed to an Indigenous tribunal or council recognized by Sovran Nation.

11. Changes to These Terms

Sovran Nation may update these Terms periodically. Updated terms will take effect once posted. Continued use signifies your acceptance of any modifications.
